I don't understand how these movies got so popular among other people than children. To me it's like these movies are just "we don't have any other things to do".

Nah... he's just that age where he think it's cool (and adult) to not act childish. :P

I'm 37 and I love all the animation movies! :P

I've never been a fan of these Pixar films...
... perhaps because I haven't seen them.

Then again, saying that cartoons are just limited to children and childish people is like saying electronic music is limited to people who don't listen to real music AKA rock! *

(* = not my opinion)

I don't like the fact that the film makers of animation movies are holding back. They are trying so hard to make everything look "real" and "natural" that they are forgetting the old-time humor that you can see in old 2-d movies with cartoons. Now it's just cute or a drama or just extremely speeded up...where is the lust for inventions?
Aren't you suppose to laugh at these animation films...not crying??
I hope this movie is a little different from all the rest.
I guess what I'm missing in many of these films is a "Scrat"...an IQ point zero that's allways make a mess of everything...I don't want to hear him discuss his love problems, there is other movies for that.

Just to make myself clear(er)...in almost every movie besides "animation movies" you can see today there is some parts that's animated...there it is important to make it look perfectly realistic i.m.o...

I like Pixar a lot! Seen almost all they ever made.
Their short films rock! "For the birds" is my absolute favourite! I can see it 1000x and still laugh  Superb! Can't wait for their next one!

Pixar Shorts

I'm also a fan of:

I like some of those animation movies - but they seem to replace the old 2d ones - and I don't really like that...
