Saying you never heard of him is like saying you don't know who Mozart is, because he was literally a genius with the light and camera :shock:

You may not know him by name but you have seen his films. Ingmar Bergman owes half his career to this man. He also did a beautiful short for the French Lumiere Project (the same one David Lynch, Wim Wenders and others worked on)...

I promise you, Jarre knows who he is (as he was well known by everyone in the European film and music communities) so you owe yourself the opportunity to discover his work...

I don't know much about the crew behind the cameras, so I don't know who he is, but if he made some movies better to some people it might be a great loss to them.
