Thanks for the video.

Couple of things, 1/ has JMJ gone back to the old laser harp style (verticle beams)? and 2/ I don't believe it, he has those damn cymbols again by the synths. JMJ, all due respect, please ditch those symbols. I really cannot see the point in them. Concentrate more on your keyboards than trying to divert to the cymbols.

Sorry guys, I have a problem with them cymbols. I don't want to see ANOTHER 'Aero' concert.

I thought Jarre had moved on from that

Perhaps - although that would not really fit to the theme.

Didn't Vangelis at one time always have a bunch of symbols nearby. I think during his China, Heaven and Hell, etc. period...

...why not Jarre!

Jarre is not Vangalis, Jarre is Jarre. He didn't have them before, until Claude turned up. Is this Claude's idea?.

Jarre isn't Vangelis...ah but you haven't seen Jarre dress up as Santa Claus with a fat suit and a white beard...tsk,tsk...

Yes, Jarre is Jarre so he can do whatever he likes...what I'm saying is Vangelis isn't putting himself in a box why do we try with Jarre. More power to him....

I understand what your saying, but I personally don't think the cymbols suite Jarre. To me it's another way of adding a more 'live' feel to the concert, quick and easy. What Jarre lacks in live sounds from the keyboards, he is making up with percusion. To me that's not right, it's not Jarre, not his trade mark.

Yeah, the cymbals are quite silly. Unless you're talking about symbols and Jarre has always had symbols in his concerts...

Anyhow, looking neat this far. I hope I won't be disappointed 8)

Those flags are neat! Where can I order them? :mryellow:

I couldn't recognize too much of his synths. Indeed a 201 I think, but it looks more like a MS2k. Thereunder... It's a big synth. Maybe a vintage? (synthex :P ?) Then his octapad and thereunder a microkorg or nothing, I can't see. In the middle a S90 I think. the other I can't see. And then ofcourse his Roland-hand-percussion-thing :) (HMD10, or how is it called?) and some more groove gear.

About the JMJ/Vangelis comparison regarding the percussion: Vangelis is, besides a keyboardist, a trained percussionist.

Perhaps he should ditch them for the next concert indeed, although I don't really mind them.

Now - is it me, or is the laser harp not on stage but somewhere else??

Somewhere else on stage, maybe? :) But it seems to be mounted in the floor.

Beware of the Laser Harpe. Jarre was playing it like that for the Beijing rehearsals as well, so maybe the T hasn't been added yet.

Thanks for the video, I will watch it now and there is INSTRUMENTS.

EDIT: At last you can see that the T has been added
