I've listened to the whole album a few times now, and I've picked out quite a few similarities to other electronic artists:
Fresh News - The Human League's "Love And Dancing" remix album (brilliant album, I suggest you all try it out)
Beautiful Agony - Kraftwerk's "Sex Object" gone porno-groove
Touch To Remember - A lot of William Orbit's producing from Madonna's "Ray Of Light" album in here, the synth arps stink of it!
Partners In Crime 1 - Brian Eno's "Fractal Zoom" from Nerve Net, the drum beats are almost the same!
Partners In Crime 1 - The "come to me" vocals remind me
Chatterbox - Bitstream's "Domestic Economy 7" album: Glitchy dance with scratching, check this album out too!
Gossip - The strange low pulsing underneath the beat reminds me of "Kladfvgbung Micshk" from Aphex Twin's "drukqs" album, another essential.
Melancholic Rodeo - With rapping replacing the solo, this could easily be classed as grime (not crap, it's a new genre quickly spreading across Britain, think Dizzee Rascal)
I'm not criticising Jarre's work here, I think it's very good, but there are definitely strong clues that JMJ is listening to an even bigger range of music than he was at around Oxy 7-13 (Underworld, Aphex Twin and Les Rhythmes Digitales).
