a couple of DVDs:

John Carpenter's Ghost of Mars (uncut)
John Carpenter's Big Trouble in Little China (Special Edition, Steelbook)
Terminator Trilogy (Deluxe Edition)
The Hitcher (uncut / Rutger Hauer is one of the best actors I know)
SAGA - Worlds Apart Revisited (2DVD + 2CD Special Edition)

For those who don't understand why I mention "uncut"... In Germany we have a rather straightlaced protection of minors i.r.o. violence and also sexual representation in media.

Movies like "The Hitcher" are also "indexed", that means that these movies cannot be advertised officially and therefore many movie companies decide to cut the movies to get a new movie rating...

In general I agree with the protection of minors, but I don't understand why a movie like "The Hitcher" which has been rated with "FSK 18", which means that this movie is only for adult people and not suitable for minors, became additionally "indexed"... that's nonsense!

Do you watch the movies with the original sound and German subtitles? It must be quite odd to hear Arnold say: "I'll be back" in German. I don't get why you do that on all the TV channels?

In fact I prefer to watch movies in the original versions with English subtitles or without subtitles (that depends on the pronunciations of the actors  ), but never with German subtitles. I was once in the cinema where they showed a movie in the English original with German subtitles. That's so disturbing (at least for me), because I was always tempted to read the German subtitles and while doing that I didn't listen to the English dialogues... :?
