I heard the new Rush and Linkin Park albums are being released on this format (as well as regular CD).

MVi is starting on the DVD platform and then will move ot Blu-Ray and HD-DVDs. Will have Music, Video, bonus music, extras like making of, interviews, lyrics, photos, posters, wallpapers and screensavers and works on every player and MAc + PC compatible.
The interactive part is, you'll be able to create your own ringtones and remix songs. Also, you'll be able to take your own photos and with themusic create your own videos for the songs.
Also the MVi disc will connect you to a website which then supposedly unlocks bonus music +videos, promos, rough cuts, etc. from the website and the user will receive e-mail updates.
All of this depends on each artist.
Sounds like the Music Industry is desparate to sell CDs and are looking to this format as the future???
More importantly, will Jarre release something on this format, ya' think?
