I guess the point of Jip's question is to find out if the CD is factory pressed or "only" a CD-R with printed and stickered "artwork", as visible on my website.....

Whoahh horsey!...

Sheriff moviemaker to da' rescue!

I have an original copy and it is a CD-R but professionally made--These are now the standard when making promo giveaways to people...unfortunately a sign of the times with Promo Acetates, etc..

Ollie my dear, your picture is correct and authentic but the color is deceiving... I too thought it looks like a a paper/laminate sticker type of cover but when you hold it in your hand it's like any other CD. They just used this wierd glossy finish that in photos looks very flat/matte and gives the appearance of a sticker but I assure you it's authentic.

The cost to do a factory pressed CD would outweigh the return for this. What makes the Jaguar CD authentic actually isn't the CD but the cardboard holder which is professionally made from a factory...

If anyone tries to sell one without the cardboard cover (which the color perfectly matches the disc) then it's a fake. Hence, why I don't buy CD-r acetates. Anyone can make that cheap cover and say it's an original. Problem with CD-r is that it scratches easily! Like a regular CD but worse and can really effect sound since you don't have that extra layer...

(note: my scanner isn't the best and doesn't always give consistent colors...)

IMHO, I think CD collecting days are numbered... so don't sell your collection!
