Microsoft AntiSpyware has worked pretty well.
I have had Trend Micro's Pc-cillin free ware for a while and now when I bought it, it doesn't work anymore. The computer freezes when I try to start it, so maybe you are not supposed to buy these things?
yay
a little hard to understand the first time but it really rules
however, I dunno why www.secuser.com online antivirus detects many viruses and not NOD32
I use avast! 4 Home Edition. It's very good, it's awarded on a regular basis and best of all, it's free for personal use.
And I haven't had a real virus attack since 2000, so that speaks for itself.

They are pretty bloated, over "hyped", and can slow down a pc by upto 10%-15%.
