I know you guys are saying that Jarre has kept all his analog gear, but how much of that gear you see in those photos are actually belong to Jarre.

All of it, except:

Korg PS3200 belongs to Francis Rimbert,
Moog Little Phatty (I think it belongs to Dominique Perrier)
The Minimoog in Claude's setup is his own
As far as I know JM sold his red ARP2600 because he didn't like the ARP filters (so that means this one is not his) - as for everything else, it's his.

Now stop lurking about that, as I got it from a very reliable source, in fact his own personal technician, who said he has kept all this stuff. Cause I'm getting a little cranky about it now.

In that case, that's your prespective, my prespective it to know what gear he owns. Some of us do have an interest in that sort of thing.

I read (In COTM )Rimbert said Jarre used him in the studio primarily for his collaboration to translate a lot of the ideas he(Jarre) has in his head(This was concerning the Musical ideas)in regards to technical parts.

I suppose Francis has the ability to sit back and take in Jarre ideas and focus on them wholly without being pedantic and trying to perfect every detail,whereas Jarre maybe has a Million and one things to think about that he can't really be commited to one thing subjectively Maybe Francis is a kind of decision maker and problem solver.Suppose thats why Jarre has stuck with him mainly over the past decade.

Its nothing unusual for an estabilished solo artist to seek advice and bounce ideas off other people in a collaboration or partnership even though they may appear to be the main focusin the spotlight,you need people around you to collaborate and share views otherwise you'd dissipate up your own arse...Nobody in the Music business is solely single handly responsible for every idea they come up with,doesn't matter how much of a genius they may seem

Oxygene In Moscow and the Tour were for me the highlights later in JMJ's career, so this is just great but these moments become unique because it hasn't been done so often lately.
