Ok so by that logic, a gun shot to the ear is as desirable as a delicate kiss on the ear?

I like Eldorado a lot.shadow wrote:Calypso 2 and 3 (although I know 3 isn't included) are without a doubt two of his best tracks of all time, to bad it wasn't the entire track though
I have experencie with both(Well I haven't had a gunshot to the ear, but just shooting a gun without ear protection) and goddamn, I can safely say I will never want to hear something like that guy again... It hurts like hell, I had a annoying noise for two daysAnalog-Umph wrote:Ok so by that logic, a gun shot to the ear is as desirable as a delicate kiss on the ear?

Really? Would love to hear it one day.shadow wrote:I love the promotional version of Eldorado, I don't know where it's exactly from but I love the fact that's it's quite a bit different from the one on the Images release![]()
French equialent of this report mentions "Australie , Roumanie...", interesting Paul Charles is not aware of this. I mean Paul expressed "nothing so far" regarding Australia and America, for 2012, though the French video talks about those territories. Interesting.Pat Gleeson wrote:Well spotted KantaKanta wrote:Jean Michel Jarre talks about his new album:

I found one on the "Essentials" disc. Actually I had to polish the damn thing before sliding it into the CD player.Phil J. wrote: Same here. Honestly, I can't see what all the fuss is about.
What did you expect?Phil J. wrote:Same here. Honestly, I can't see what all the fuss is about.
It's more interesting that you think PC would tell you what's being planned or not. No way will PC announce to fans before it's announced by the promotor or Jarre. Besides, it isnt even sure that PC is involved in these foreign sales (which setting up a tour is). He told me they are still working on it, which is probably what JMJ means too. By mentioning these plans they put pressure on local promotors to maybe get their fingers out, and also signalize to new territories that they are interested. It's not like Jarre announces tickets that arent on sale.Robi wrote:French equialent of this report mentions "Australie , Roumanie...", interesting Paul Charles is not aware of this. I'm just happy I still have my original Deserted Palace LP. I assumed the CD versions of these tracks would be better. I guess not.Velodynamic wrote:My first listening session is done.
Rarities - This is why I bought this album. My new found love is Windswept Canyon, really a true masterpiece of its age. Ofcourse Hypnose, Deserted Palace, Black Bird, Music Box Concerto and some others are also fun. I think Vitalic's Erosmachine RMX is a nice climax wrapping the package at the very end, although it's a pity the mixing of La Cage RMX sounds terrible.
Probably not Jean Michel's fault.
Now all we need is another album called "ultra-rarities".
Then again... En attendant Cousteau was the last great Jarre album (except for maybe Oxy 7-13).Dr_Jones wrote:Because Calypso 2 is only his best song ever.chronos wrote:what's so "essential" about the arse end of Calypso 2 ???
